When I was working, the Full Moon was always a bad thing…brought the worst out in people. But…last tonight (April 6, 2012) we fought the crowded anchorage of Trellis Bay to enjoy the Full Moon Party! It is quite the monthly event complete with “Dancing Mocko Jumbies” which are stilt dancers and hypnotic fire balls created by artist Aragorn. There was also a live band, food and drink…THE PLACE TO BE! So now the Full Moon will bring Good Memories!
Today we sailed over to Great Harbour on Jost Van Dyke. We decided to spend the day onshore. I packed lunch for all, we changed into swimming attire and headed in. John found the first hammock and was there for quite a while. The rest of us enjoyed people and dog watching from our beach chairs under the palm trees. The local Black Lab, named “Taboo” was there chasing balls into the water and letting kids catch a ride on his back returning to shore. Foxy himself was at the bar greeting guests. Free internet was available so we all were happy.
