Jonathon Graduation Party

Yeah...He finally did it! We had so much snow outside, John built a "SNOW SCULPTURE" for Jonathon and Jennifer painted it with colored water. It says "Jon Rocks". We were glad that friends and family braved the elements to give Jonathon their Congratulations! Thanks.

Stuff From Home

Welcome Home Mega Snow

We had a great flight home and got a fun photo of another plane.
As you can see, we have quite a bit of new snow. We want to go back to Florida...now!
Actually, it is beautiful but puts a damper on a lot of plans, oh well.

The Space Coast...Florida

Notice the Racoon AND the Black Cat...It makes you wonder if they knew the other was there.
We have spent a few weeks now at Telemar Bay Marina in Florida. It is a great marina and they gave us the t-head which is perfect for us. We have really enjoyed the company of Johns friend from 7th grade, Greg, and his wife Carla. They loaned us their car, John has used Gregs tools and garage for creating some of his boat projects, we have enjoyed many meals together, Greg showed us how to make home made sausage, Carla took a day off of work to hang out and show me all around including Cocoa Beach, Ron Jon's surf shop, Cocoa Beach Pier, shopping at antique stores, beach combing on the beach and then we went out to eat with the guys at Thai Thai 2...all around a great time! Carla has taken the time to introduce me to the craft of beading and lanyards as well as helping me to sew my new window treatments which came out Marvelous!!!! She also surprised me with an embroidered apron so I will look the part when I am cooking now. We will really miss their company but hope to get together again real soon...hint, hint.

We have also REALLY enjoyed the Space Coast part of things. We saw the International Space Station fly overhead a couple of times. Did you know you can go to Heavens-Above.com and it will tell you when to watch it fly over your town?...check it out! We also saw the launch of the Atlas Rocket from a parking lot VERY close to NASA so it was really bright and fun to follow through the sky!
