Heading around Cabo de Sao Vicente

You can see it from far, far away. (In photo #1, you can see it through the Dodger). It is a very exciting feeling knowing you are about to turn East, heading to the Mediterranean.
The coast between Cape St. Vicent and Lagos is wild. It is like you are sailing through Utah in Arches National Park only there are beaches.
As soon as we rounded the cape we caught the afternoon winds, called "nortadas". We were caught a bit off guard as the winds came at us at 40 knots. It was a push to get some of the sails quickly.
