Fall Foliage…It really is so much more beautiful here!

Fall is a favorite time of year for me.  So we decided to rent a car and drive North until we found the famous New England Fall Foliage.  A friend recommended going to Hunter Mountain in the Catskills.

In Ashland, NY we had to stop for the 1957 Chevrolet “Partridge Family” bus.  Does anyone remember the Partridge family?  David Cassidy was my teenage idol so I watched a lot of the Partridge family Smile

Then we went to Delhi to see covered bridges.  Down the road from the Delhi bridge was “Paul’s Maple Syrup”.  So we drove up to the house and in the garage was his syrup inventory so we picked up a bottle of homemade maple syrup…yummy!  Did you know it takes 40 gallons of maple sap to make 1 gallon of maple syrup?

We visited a few covered bridges too.
